Pugsley Enjoying the Water - Day 72

We had a great cookout at my mother's today. Beautiful day to be on the bay in Hull. Pugsley took full advantage of the warm weather by going in for a swim.

First Strawberry - Day 71

Today, I found the first strawberry of the season in the planter on the deck. I love this time on year when I can go out to the deck and pick fresh strawberries to have in my cereal for breakfast.

Beautiful Afternoon - Day 70

I had a delightful afternoon at Trish's today. The weather was beautiful, the conversation fun and view from her deck was spectacular.

Sea Breeze Art Gallery - Day 69

Today was a busy day. Brought by photographs to be sold at the Paragon Carousel store and Sea Breeze Art Gallery. Sea Breeze is the newest gallery in Hull, it has been open less then a month. They sold one of my framed photographs last week, so I brought more today. The gallery is on Nantasket Avenue near Riddles Supermart. If you are in Hull stop in it's a beautiful gallery. Something for everyone.

My Vegetable Garden - Day 68

I don't have a large vegetable garden just tomatoes and cucumbers. It was a lot of work getting even this small garden ready to put in plants. But in August it will be well worth the work.

Rose Bud - Day 67

Early Birthday Gift - Day 66

Today I got a early birthday gift to take on vacation in July. Now a new book is just 60 seconds away.

Adams Mansion - Day 65

I wanted to go back to Adams Mansion this morning to see if anymore of the plants covered in buds have bloomed. To my delight the garden is full of color.

Beach Rose - Day 64

Busy morning going to garden clubs plant sales. After getting my geraniums from the Hull Garden Club I stopped by the bathhouse and found some beautiful beach roses.

Nantasket Beach - Day 63

Beautiful day in Hull today. The beach was full with people wanting summer. Some silly people went in the water. It still is a little to early to ride the waves.

Yellow Iris - Day 62

My next door neighbor Maureen has the most beautiful iris in her garden. The plant is very sturdy with many flowers waiting to bloom.

USS Salem - Day 61

I did a George photo today. After having a wonderful lunch at Corner Cafe in Hingham and saw Letters from Juliet with my mother, I thought I would look for today's photo. Drove to Webb Park saw nothing and headed home over the Fore River Bridge and saw the Salem. So today you get the USS Salem in the rain.

Faxon Park - Day 60

I took a ride through Faxon Park this afternoon. I found a memorial stone that is new to the park telling how Mr Faxon in 1885 gave the land to the City Of Quincy in memory of his father. Off to the side of the Basketball Court and the Ball Field is a stone bench that was made by men of the Civil Conservation Corps after the Great Depression. It has been there over 70 years.

Planting - Day 59

I don't know where the day went to. I completely forgot about my daily photo. I caught the last bet of sunshine on my patio.

Moving Statue -Day 58

This morning I attended a Meetup photography class. We strolled around Harvard Square. In one of the parks we went to was a moving statue about people starving in the land of plenty.

Iris's are Blooming - Day 57

Painting W/Trish - Day 56

Today the sun came out to make another beautiful afternoon for our art class. Today we were fortunate to go to Dennis' backyard. In the beautifully landscaped yard were vistas of the bay and a fish pond with the cuteness statue of a small boy relaxing while reading a book.

Mill Wharf, Scituate - Day 55

George and I went to the Mill Wharf in Scituate for lunch today. My first lobster roll of the season.

Harbor Cruise Tonight - Day 54

Tonight I went on a Harbor Cruise with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce. Didn't get a sunset but met many business owners from Quincy. I passed out a lot of business cards in hopes of them needing photographs for their offices.

Hydrangea - Day 53

Houghs Neck Marsh - Day 52

I found a new marsh in Houghs Neck this morning. I will have to go back there. It is a beautiful vista even has benches to sit on. I was hoping to see some wild life, but none came.

Marina Bay, Quincy - Day 51

Had a wonderful dinner at Siro's today to celebrate Mother's Day. Dan had to work today so he came by the house before we left for dinner. My Mom, George , Jen and Bill made it a perfect meal. We had beautiful sunshine but it was so windy and cold on the boardwalk everyone ate inside.

Hull Pier - Day 50

I took a drive down to the Carousel late this morning. It was just in between rain showers. With the overcast sky many shadows were cast. I changed the photo to a black and white.

Driftway Park, Scituate - Day 49

Spent a wonderful afternoon at the Driftway Park in Scituate for our painting class. It was a beautiful afternoon didn't want to leave.

Wollaston Beach - Day 46

Went over to Wollaston Beach this afternoon. It was very quiet. A few people were in the water.

Johnny Cupcakes Mom - Day 45

Lorraine Earl the Mom of Johnny Cupcakes won the first race at the Paragon Carousel Derby horse race.

A Cute Puppy - Day 44

The cuteness puppy waited patiently outside for it's owner to check out what was going on in the Estuary today.

En Plein Air - Day 43

While we were at the Estuary today Trish went out back to paint the marshland along the Weir River.
