New York - Day 133

Had a great day in New York with Dan. We did everything Rockerfeller Center, Times Square, South Street Seaport and ended with supper at 230 Fifth on the 20th floor roof garden. What a place will have to go back and bring George.

Coffee Break - Day 132

Went over to the Coffee Break Cafe in the parking way to check on my Quincy photographs that are being shown there.

Scituate Harbor - Day 131

Scituate in the summer is a beautiful place to spend some time.

Wollaston Beach - Day 130

Drove over to Wollaston Beach this afternoon. Many people were enjoying the beautiful day.

Scituate Light - Day 129

To nice of a day to stay home. George had no interest in doing anything so I roamed the south shore. I love doing this. I wanted a photo of the First Parish Church in Cohasset but they haven't fixed the repairs yet. Ladders everywhere so I used the shore road to Scituate. I met a couple ladies at Scituate Light and had a nice conversation.

Hingham Shipyard - Day 128

Stopped at Fresh Market in the new Hingham Shipyard shopping center this afternoon to pick up some fruit and found to my surprise a carousel and minature golf. I spoke to a women there and she said it's been there for a month. I also saw that Talbot's Outlet store is moving in there.

Photo Walk - Day 127

At 9 am this morning I met a group of photographers in Boston (only knew one person from camera club) to take photos of Boston. Today photographers all over the world are taking photographs for a worldwide photo shoot. At noon we all went for a burger and beer at the Times Pub to discuss the photos we took.

Planter - Day 126

The other day I bought a pot of flowers at Seabreezes Art Gallery. It is the perfect size for my bay window bringing some color into the kitchen.

Blacks Creek - Day 125

It was a beautiful day today so after my doctor appointment went back to Blacks Creek to see what was going on. The Quincy Recreation Department was having sailing classes for children. I wish I had audio with the photo so you could hear the excitement of the children under sail.

Blacks Creek - Day 124

This is a photo of Blacks Creek from Pagnet Field looking towards Wollaston Beach. It's wonderful that Quincy has this peaceful area for all ages to enjoy.

Paragon Carousel - Day 123

Went down to the Paragon Carousel store this morning to see how my photographs are selling. Happy to report they are selling well.

I took so many photographs yesterday I thought I would use another one for today. A thunder storm is due at anytime today and I don't want to get caught in it.

Sunflowers - Day 121

George and I drove to Griswold, CT this morning to view the Make-A-Wish sunflower benefit. The Buttonwood farms plants sunflowers by the acres for everyone to view. They sold sunflowers by the bunch (5) for $5.00. I bought a bunch and enjoying it's beautiful flower.

Butterfly - Day 120

Went to Adams Mansion this morning to see the artists painting in Arts in the Park. It must have been to hot to paint the only ones there where photographers. A new member of Quincy Art Association with her daughter and Muffy and Carol.

Lightroom Class - Day 119

Went to the Boston Convention Center fot a Lightroom class today. Learned a lot.

Cherry Tomatoes - Day 118

The cherry tomatoes have ripen in the pots on the deck. Now we have fresh tomatoes and cucumbers for tonight's salad.

Hingham Harbor - Day 117

Hingham Harbor had a beautiful sunset that I wanted to share.

Trumpet Vine - Day 116

I found a new vine in the garden today. Maybe a bird had dropped a seed at one time. Some of my garden has turned into a jungle.

Sunday's Sunrise - Day 115

Yesterday morning we got up early so we wouldn't miss the sunrise coming into New York. This is one of the photos I took.

Back to New York - Day 114

All vacations have to end. Yesterday morning we docked at the passenger terminal waiting for the ship to be cleared by customs. As we waited the Norwegian Dawn docked beside us. Then off to JFK for our Jet Blue flight to Boston.

Red Hibiscus - Day 113

As you travel around Bermuda you can't miss the beautiful flowers everywhere. One of the flowers is the Hibiscus. This one I found in St. George.

Johnny Barnes - Day 112

A statue has been made to thank Johnny Barnes who stands at the round a-bout five days a week as you enter Hamilton. For over 20 years he greets everyone and wishes them a good day.

Bermuda Sunset - Day 111

Had a lovely day. A street fair was held this evening on Front Street. Beautiful sunset from the ship.

Hamilton,-Day 110

The ship moved from St. George to Front St. Hamilton this morning. Had a fun day shopping and going to a fair on Front Street tonight. One of the photos is a view from our veranda. The other is Hamilton Harbor.

St. George - Day 109

Arrived at St. George, Bermuda. Spent the morning at St. Catherine's beach, water was perfect, and the afternoon looking through the shops in St. George. Temperature in the low 80's. Just perfect. The Veendam is to large to dock downtown so they have a ferry to get us from the ship to town. Tomorrow the ship moves to Front street in Hamilton for three days.

Day at Sea -Day 108

Had lunch at the Retreat on the stern of the Veendam. They have a new pool area where the water flows around your lounge chair. Life is rough. Ha!

On Our Way - Day 107

Left New York on our way to Bermuda. Happy 4th of July.

Happy Fourth of July Weekend - Day 106

I found my photo of the day at 9:30 am this morning. When Mom came by to wish George and I a safe and fun vacation. God bless America and Mom.

Flower Doll - Day 105

This doll I like very much that sits on a bookcase in the screen room. I like her french look as a flower lady. Let's say Paris 1800's.

Before the Sunset - Day 104

I had a Hull Artists meeting tonight at the Estuary in Hull. I left home early to see if I could get today's photo. Drove to the Bay and found this wonderful sky by Jake's Restaurant on the blvd.
