Adams Mansion Garden - Day 41


When I saw the blue sky today I decided to go back to Adams Mansion to take the pictures I didn't get yesterday because of the overcast sky. During the coming months I will take photos of the multitude of flowers that will fill the garden during the summer and fall.

Wisteria - Day 40


Took another walk through the Peacefield garden ( Adams Mansion) today and to my surprise the wisteria were blooming. It seems early to me. It was such a difficult decision wether to show the lilacs or the wisteria. Wisteria won.

John Adams Birthplace - Day 36


The Adams birthplaces are now open for the season. The cherry trees are in full bloom. The park ranger told me the trees are blooming 4 weeks early this year.

Went for a ride around the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. The harbor was very quiet this morning. A roll on roll off ship was in the drydock for repairs.

Restaurant Week in Quincy - Day 26


Today George and I went to Marina Bay for lunch to take advantage of two lunches for $15 at Siro's. We ate outside and enjoyed the warm weather and the nice environment of all the yachts moored in the marina. Mayor Koch sat at the table next to us. The lunch was delicious as always at Siro's. The waitress was so quick bringing our gin and tonics she looked like a blurr.

Who would ever think that one would see a deer in a city neighborhood. At 7:30 George said grab your camera there is a deer across the street. So I grabbed my camera, being a good wife, and open the front door since I was still in my bathrobe that's as close as I could get.
