We had a great cookout at my mother's today. Beautiful day to be on the bay in Hull. Pugsley took full advantage of the warm weather by going in for a swim.

First Strawberry - Day 71


Today, I found the first strawberry of the season in the planter on the deck. I love this time on year when I can go out to the deck and pick fresh strawberries to have in my cereal for breakfast.

Sea Breeze Art Gallery - Day 69


Today was a busy day. Brought by photographs to be sold at the Paragon Carousel store and Sea Breeze Art Gallery. Sea Breeze is the newest gallery in Hull, it has been open less then a month. They sold one of my framed photographs last week, so I brought more today. The gallery is on Nantasket Avenue near Riddles Supermart. If you are in Hull stop in it's a beautiful gallery. Something for everyone.

My Vegetable Garden - Day 68


I don't have a large vegetable garden just tomatoes and cucumbers. It was a lot of work getting even this small garden ready to put in plants. But in August it will be well worth the work.

Beautiful day in Hull today. The beach was full with people wanting summer. Some silly people went in the water. It still is a little to early to ride the waves.

Yellow Iris - Day 62


My next door neighbor Maureen has the most beautiful iris in her garden. The plant is very sturdy with many flowers waiting to bloom.

USS Salem - Day 61


I did a George photo today. After having a wonderful lunch at Corner Cafe in Hingham and saw Letters from Juliet with my mother, I thought I would look for today's photo. Drove to Webb Park saw nothing and headed home over the Fore River Bridge and saw the Salem. So today you get the USS Salem in the rain.

Faxon Park - Day 60


I took a ride through Faxon Park this afternoon. I found a memorial stone that is new to the park telling how Mr Faxon in 1885 gave the land to the City Of Quincy in memory of his father. Off to the side of the Basketball Court and the Ball Field is a stone bench that was made by men of the Civil Conservation Corps after the Great Depression. It has been there over 70 years.

Painting W/Trish - Day 56


Today the sun came out to make another beautiful afternoon for our art class. Today we were fortunate to go to Dennis' backyard. In the beautifully landscaped yard were vistas of the bay and a fish pond with the cuteness statue of a small boy relaxing while reading a book.

Harbor Cruise Tonight - Day 54


Tonight I went on a Harbor Cruise with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce. Didn't get a sunset but met many business owners from Quincy. I passed out a lot of business cards in hopes of them needing photographs for their offices.

Had a wonderful dinner at Siro's today to celebrate Mother's Day. Dan had to work today so he came by the house before we left for dinner. My Mom, George , Jen and Bill made it a perfect meal. We had beautiful sunshine but it was so windy and cold on the boardwalk everyone ate inside.
