New Tree Coming - Day 224
I have been thinking about getting a tree for my front lawn but didn't know what I wanted. While I was driving down Bridge Street I saw this unusual tree and had to get a closer look. Quincy Adams Nursery will be planting it for me next week. I hope it will look right in the yard. It's a Serpentine Cherry tree. I was thinking it may curve into a S for Santry wouldn't that be cool.

Raining But It Brought Out the Color- Day 222
Another busy day. Brought a gift photo to the family I met photographing the Head of the Weir Race from their beach ( I can't tell you where it is, I like life to much). I took this photo from a new spot I found. There was a no trespassing sign but after my last spot I thought who would see me. Well a truck pulled up and I asked if I could take a photo. He did say sure but don't fall I don't have insurance. He watched me and didn't leave until I did. I feel like a true photographer now. Really proud of myself even trying to take a photo at a no trespassing area. Ha!

Gannets - Day 214
On my way to buy some groceries I thought I would go to Mounds Beach. What a surprise. It's a very nice beach on the Town River. While there I walked towards the Town River Yacht Club and found these Gannets. I thinks it's been thirty years since I have gone to this beach. I will go back sooner. Quincy is full of nice surprises.

Concourse Update - Day 202
They have made a lot of progress on the cross city connector roadway when I drove by today. The demolition crew had to stop taking the Quincy Movie Theater down when they found asbestos in the buildings. The asbestos is gone and looks like the road will be finished in a couple months. The cars in the middle right of this photo are on Hancock Street. This connector road has been planned for the city for over 20 years.
In the second photo the building in the middle by the Granite Trust Building (Bank America now) is coming down in a couple weeks. All part of the Quincy Revitalization Plan.

Jerusalem Road - Day 198
Another very busy day. Trish invited me to go on the North River Art Assoc. Studio Tour which was wonderful. If I only had a barn to convert into a studio. Then went to Focus Gallery for a great presentation from photographer Michael Kahn. His work is inspirational. The light when I left the gallery called me to take some photographs so I took Jerusalem Road home from Cohasset.

Lobster Boil - Day 196
Thanks to FB and Jennifer I found out about a lobster boil being held in Houghs Neck at the Houghs Neck Congregational church. What a deal. A lobster dinner for $10.00. The door bell just rang, would you believe I won a door prize at the dinner. A bottle or wine and a scarf delivered by my neighbor Pat.
